Autumn Lips using Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush!

With my pale skin and blonde hair I've never been much for vampy lips. Mostly I was just scared of how to pull them off. I was in high school when that whole 'emo' phase got popular, so the idea of wearing vampy lips just made me cringe from memories of girls with panda eyes and cheap, thick lipstick that just looked terrible! 

But, this year I decided to jump out of my comfort zone a bit and autumn is almost over, so I thought what better time to have a go, right? 

I picked up the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush last week from Priceline because I just love the colour! I think it's a great colour for anyone to start out with that wine red/vampy purple kind of look!

This look is a basic neutral face look and i've chucked on the lip stain. For the eyes I went for pinky/purpley neutrals to blend with the purple lip. I used some limited edition colours but really, a champagne all over the lid, a pink lightly dusted through the crease, some purple along the lash line and a thin line of gel liner on the top lash line and in the bottom water line. As for the rest of my makeup, I followed my everyday makeup routine.

What I love about the Revlon Balm Stains is how versatile they are. You can sheer them out or pack it on! They're so easy you can chuck it on in the car and not worry about lip liners or touch ups. They really do last a long time and are relatively moisturising on the lips. -Much better than usual stains! (Does anyone else have a massive hard time with stains because they don't go on evenly? Drives me crazy.)
