May Beauty Favourites 2013

Sorry this is so late posted! It's my final week at uni and I have been in assignment overload!
May is one of my favourite months of the year. I could talk forever about how nice autumn is and the fashion, but really, I just love it because my birthday is in May.

Because I'm a beauty junkie and my family and friends all know... I tend to get a lot of beauty things for my birthday. This year was no exception. So, a lot of these products were either given to me this month or purchased with birthday money!

Lets get started on my May Beauty Favourites of 2013!

Some of these I'm cheating a little because I haven't had them for the whole month. But, Ive been using them in May and I have been IN LOVE!

So, first I want to talk about the Napoleon Perdis The One Concealer. This is just the greatest product. It's a salmon based corrector to use under your eyes to counteract dark circles under the eyes. Because I am so freaking pale at the best of times, this is a huge win of a product for me. The pigment of the corrector is so concentrated that you barely need to even dip your brush in the product. I've been using it everyday for about 3 weeks and look how little I've used up in the photo below!

This Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner is possibly the wonderful thing in the whole world. After a full exfoliation or a nice relaxing bath, nothing feels better than putting this on. You just rub it all over, leave it for a minute or two - like conditioner, then rinse! You're left with the most supple, delicious smelling skin!

What is more perfect on pale skins then a nice peachy blush? Nothing. I seriously love this blush! I know it's limited edition but its just wonderful. I love that it's a pastel, apricot shade rather than a bright peach. For everyday looks this just gives your face a natural, dewy 'peaches 'n' cream' look! Winter makes my skin look a little drab so I love livening my skin up with this. MAC Cream Soda is one of my favourite blushes!

A few posts back, I did a quick First Impressions: Real Techniques about some brushes I picked up from the line from iHerb.com. These two brushes have been my favourite for this month. The first one I'll quickly talk about is the duo fibre face brush. This blush works wonderfully with the blush I mentioned above! It doesn't apply too much colour to the cheeks and leaves a really natural glowing sheen!
The second brush is the deluxe crease brush. I've been loving using this in combination with my under eye concealers! It's just the right size to get under then and blend, blend, blend. I find it makes my under eye concealer looks a lot less cakey and a little more natural. Which is always a good thing, right?

Drumroll please! My favourite product of May was without a doubt this body wash! Soap and Glory Foam Call. It smells like the hair of angels and a thousand luscious, creamy cocktails!

To be honest, I think what I love so much about this body wash is how luxurious the bubbles feel on your skin. They really feel moisturising. Which, I know, sounds like a really weird concept. But try it out and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Amazing.
Amazing.
Amazing.

Finally, a few honourable mentions to some products that I think will be my favourites next month!
Prada Candy: My boyfriend bought this perfume for me for my birthday and I absolutely adore the scent! Unfortunately I haven't worn it too much this month because I've only been at university or work. I feel like it's such a waste to wear it to such mundane events :( Hopefully I'll get to wear it more in June!
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation: I didn't buy this until half way through May, but I've worn it quite often and really been enjoying it! I love the scent and the coverage. I like a dewy, light to medium coverage foundation. The only thing I find a little annoying about this foundation is that it doesn't cover redness too well... luckily the only redness I really get is around blemishes so I have to conceal anyway.
Michael Todd Honey Oat Cleanser: This cleanser didn't enter my life until the last week of May so I really can't chuck it in my May favourites... But if I could I would. There's nothing for me to fault. It's a great product and it cleanses well and gets all my makeup off in one step. I like simplicity!
